I love how the strobe was in just the right position to make a flare. :D
This was actually taken in a pitch black room. And THAT'S why I love my $9 strobe. No gels, no softboxes, just the bare strobe fired at the blanket the Trip's resting on. With the test button. :D

FujiFilm FinePix F70EXR Is a Compact Powerhouse
15.12.09
What makes this camera much more than your run-of-the-mill pocket megazoom is the fact that Fujifilm built this camera around the EXR sensor also found in the FinePix F200EXR and FinePix S200EXR . This sensor can spawn a standard 10-megapixel image, of course, but it can also reconfigure itself--by combining message from adjacent sensor sites--to take 5-megapixel images that submit improved low-light sensitivity or improved dynamic orbit .
You can treat EXR mode like an advanced Program fashion setting; it'll choose the right EXR effect (full resolution, low taper, or dynamic range) depending on the situation. You can also dial in the vogue you want directly. As I found with the camera's big sibling (the FinePix S200EXR), EXR mode is operational--but often very subtle. When shooting in EXR mode, you need to weigh the advantages of unmasking settings versus the loss of resolution.
The F70EXR includes a few other shooting modes designed to resist you eke out superb photos with minimal effort. The Natural & Fulgurate mode, for example, is sort of like a flash bracketing manner: It takes two images back to back, one with the flash enabled and one without. I found this to be the single most practical mode in the F70EXR, because it simplifies a huge problem that photographers commonly mask: Flash or no flash? Now you get both, and you can just pick the better photo afterward.

It works over-the-candidly, around the neck, or the way I liked it most adroitly: across the coffer where you can fall forget the camera into condition — one handed — expectant to go in a split backer.
Duncan sent me one a few weeks back before it was publicly announced, and I’ve been using it almost continually since. I finished a stable week with it while vacationing with my blood, and it was deft while chasing my full of pep 2-year old son, the concluding proof for any camera strap. It does even best in more controlled circumstances.
